  • This is a beautiful well cared for resting place. My third great grandfather is buried in the Turner Farm families cemetery which was known at one time as Old Cold Bank cemetery which led to me visiting it. I have no doubt that I have a Turner family member resting in this cemetery as I am a descendent of Matthew Turner and his daughter Polly Turner (married to Colby Wyatt). My grandfather’s funeral was held at the Cold Bank Springs Church with Elders King and Caldwell speaking in 1876. Much history has taken place in this area and it is comforting to witness how the folks that have gone on beforehand are treated so respectfully.

  • I have a lot of family (Turner) buried at Coal Bank. The cemetery is very well taken care of and pleasant to visit my family when I am in Harrisburg visiting my living family. Coal Bank was our church growing up.
